ResistenzApp app for iPhone and iPad

ResistenzApp is a new way to get to know the history of the Italian Resistance.
It is application designed to geolocalize and describe the main events of the liberation war. It features several key figures and topics and offers many audiovisual materials. It summarizes the main historical events from 1940 to 1946, alternating moments of narration to factual reconstruction in a very user-friendly style that does not derogate from the documentary and interpretative rigour resulting from the work of the Historical Institutes making up the network of Institutes for the History of Resistance and Contemporary Society.
It was created by a multidisciplinary team and aims at supporting active citizenship, cultural tourism and training in general by promoting public history through users’ interaction.
The application relies on a specific related website (www.resistenzapp.it), which provides further materials and links to other virtual resources on the web.
